The brief for this project was to create a 2-minute video that explains the science behind the CUE1 to Charco's audience, with simplified scientific diagrams.
The CUE1 combines the principles of focussed vibrotactile stimulation and cueing, both evidenced by scientific literature to improve motor performance and alleviate freezing of gait for people with Parkinson’s.
The brief for this project was to create a 2-minute video that explains the science behind the CUE1 to Charco's audience. This involved storyboarding and animating a video that takes more complex neurological processes and breaks them down into a format that is easily understandable and engaging for the viewer. The goal of the project was to provide Charco's audience with a deeper understanding of the CUE1 and how it works, while also keeping the content interesting and engaging. To achieve this, we focused on using clear and concise language, visually appealing graphics, and compelling storytelling to bring the science of the CUE1 to life. Overall, the project was a challenging but rewarding task, and we are proud of the final result.
The animation was created using Adobe After Effects and featured in-depth scientific diagrams that explained the advanced neurological processes at work in the CUE1, a device used to treat Parkinson's disease. These diagrams were incorporated seamlessly into the animation to provide a clear and concise explanation of how the CUE1 operates. The use of advanced character animations and smooth transitions helped to keep the viewer's attention and effectively convey the complex information being presented.
The animation was shared across Charco Neurotech's website and social media channels, and has since garnered thousands of views on YouTube. Overall, the animation was a success and helped to effectively promote Charco Neurotech and the CUE1 to a wide audience.
