Charco's updated website offers easy usability with a clean design. The ethos for the design is ‘simple on the surface, with a wealth of information underneath.
The primary feedback on the existing Charco website was that it was too cute and playful for such a serious topic and such a life-changing device. We ensured that the new brand assets remained friendly and approachable, but also gave the air of professionalism and invoked trust in the company and product.
The new Charco website is more user-friendly and easy to navigate. It has the ethos of 'simple on the surface but with a wealth of information'. This meant that when visitors first visited the website, they received an overview that was easy to digest and grabbed their attention, but they could also easily delve in and read more about the area that interested them.
We achieved this by taking large blocks of content and using them to create punchy summaries. These summaries were shown on the top level, such as the homepage, and the full blocks were visible at the tap of a button. We also organised the information in order of priority, as deemed by Charco, with the focus on gaining interest in the CUE1 device whilst also re-assuring visitors of the science behind it. They could then learn more about the company behind the CUE1, and testimonials from other users.
